| Resumen: | This document presents a total of 116 fish species in 62 genera and 19 families of the three orders examined. As yet, only
51 of these species have been collected in our territory. Species in [ ] are those present in adjacent waters of the Colombian
Pacific. For those species, we provide coordinates for the locations where specimens were caught and/or give the
collection reference and catalog numbers of those specimens. All other species are shown with their distribution in the
Colombian Pacific ecoregions according to INVEMAR (2000), their bathymetric range and the collection catalog number
and/or bibliographic reference. The organization of the taxonomic list follows Nelson (2006) for the order and family, and
the species within the families are presented in alphabetical order. |
